Kenora District Law Association
Our Approach
The Kenora District Law Association (“KDLA”) serves the professional needs of our members practicing law in the district by maintaining a law library and lawyers’ lounge, offering continued professional development, as well as representing our members interests at various forums, conferences, and through our various committees.

The Lawyers’ lounge was redone in October of 2024. The use of the lounge is restricted to KDLA members and visiting lawyers only.
The Law Library is available to KDLA members at all times. Non-members may only access the library when the librarian is present.
Members may sign out books at any time from the library.
LiRN continues to provide our suite of electronic resources including Lexis Advance QuickLaw, Lexis Practical Guidance, Westlaw (Family source, Criminal source and Estates & Trusts source) and vLex on library computers only. The Kenora Law Library also purchases access to WestLaw’s Criminal Law Source for in library/member use only.
The Kenora District Law Association dates back to 1914
